UL FSRI Research presented during 2nd Annual Lt. Nathan Flynn Fireground Leadership Training Program
On July 23rd, fire service members convene for full day of training in tribute to fallen Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services (HCDFRS) firefighter, Lieutenant Nathan “Nate” Flynn. Lieutenant Flynn died in the line of duty on Monday, July 23, 2018 while operating at the scene of a house fire in Clarksville, Maryland. Although the COVID-19 prevented the in-person and hands-on training components, HCDFRS adapted to host this important training online to continue to honor Lt. Flynn.
